Biography of the CANTANTI Singing Ensemble

The CANTANTI singing ensemble is comprised of 1 to 3 classical singers,
accompanied by a pianist. They have performed in numerous concerts
throughout Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. They have performed with
opera companies in The United States and in Italy, singing in fully
staged opera productions and concerts. The performing venues include The
National Theatre in Washington, DC; community centers; social
organizations; churches; restaurants; and private parties and clubs.
In restaurants and private parties they also perform as "strolling musicians", singers accompanied by an accordionist.
CANTANTI's musical programs feature Opera, Operettas, Musical Theater,
Standards, Old Time Favorites, Inspirational /Religious Music, and
International songs in such languages as Italian, German, French, Spanish,
Yiddish, Hebrew, Russian, Latin and English.
